BIO

Jessica Daley, a critically lauded Teesside-born actress and performer, first rose to fame on BBC1’s Over the Rainbow, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s national search for Dorothy in the West End revival of The Wizard of Oz, to which the Lord himself referred to her as ‘a world class star’. She has since enjoyed an illustrious career in both theatre and television, gracing stages in the West End, across the UK and all around the globe; starring in hit musicals such as ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Grease’, ‘Mamma Mia’ and most recently Irving Berlin’s ‘White Christmas’, playing opposite the legendary Lorna Luft. 
 

In 2019, she led the international tour of the original Hal Prince production of ‘Evita’, following in the footsteps of the iconic Patti LuPone and Elaine Paige; playing the title role of Eva Peròn to high acclaim. She has since showcased her extensive vocal range, singing the iconic role of Christine Daae in Curve Leicester’s concert of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, highlighting her impressive versatility and range. 
 

Her theatrical endeavours aside, Jessica has lent her vocals to BBC’s RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Vs The World and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show. She is also a proud commissioned podcast producer and host, her current project ‘Park and Bark’ explores regional theatre, touring theatre and life on the road as a working creative. 
 

Jessica is a proud ambassador of her hometown Middlesbrough and a passionate teacher and advocate to younger generations exploring careers within the arts. She is qualified as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFAE) and is passionate about mental wellbeing within the industry.
